About the Company
Maple Office Supply has been in business for over
30 years, providing a full line of over 25,000 office supplies and
products. Owned by Cheryl Overman, an established private practice C.P.A
in Dallas, Maple Office Supply has a strong reputation for excellent
customer service and quality products at competitive prices.
Our major clients include both large healthcare groups and state and
city agencies.
In March of 2003, Maple Office Supply was joined by Las Colinas
Office Products, a 12-year-old office supply company located in
North Dallas, to form an enterprise that can compete with
large chain stores. Elaine Peter, owner of Las Colinas Office
Products, is vice president of sales at Maple Office Supply and
brings more than 20 years experience in the office supply
industry to the company. With the benefit of Las Colinas Office
Products’ resources, Maple Office Supply is able to provide you
with printer and fax repair, remanufactured laser toner cartridges,
and copier toner.
Maple Office Supply is a woman-owned-and-operated business, as
well as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).
About Cheryl Overman
Cheryl Overman, owner of Maple Office Supply, has grown her own
accounting practice since 1984. After earning her B.S. in math
from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, and her M.B.A in
accounting from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Overman
joined Price Waterhouse’s Tampa office. She later transferred to
the Dallas office. She worked for Texas Oil and Gas for several
years prior to starting her private practice.
Overman’s community interests have included Genesis Women’s
Shelter, Women’s Center of Dallas Treasurer, and Central Christian
Church Treasurer. She is a member of the National Association of
Women Business Owners (NAWBO), The Women's Business Council, the Women’s Museum and the
Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
About Elaine Peter
Elaine Peter is Vice President of Sales for Maple Office
Supply. Formerly the owner of Las Colinas Office Products, which
joined Maple Office Supply in March 2003, Elaine has been in the
office supply industry for more than 20 years.
Elaine’s prior experience is in real estate/construction for
the State of Texas. She is an active member of the Prestonwood
Baptist Choir, Women’s Business Council and is NCTRCA certified.
